Information you provide

Airglow LLC operates Dear Cosmos, an app for setting intentions and finding everyday inspiration through real star maps, cosmic echoes, and gifts. We use the information you choose to enter, such as your wishes, preferred name, zodiac sign, and preferences, to personalize your experience and provide the features you use.

Storage and iCloud

Dear Cosmos stores app data on your device and uses iCloud to store and sync app data across your Apple devices when iCloud sync is enabled. Sync availability depends on your Apple Account, iCloud settings, and available storage. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple’s privacy policy.

Device features and permissions

Dear Cosmos does not collect your device’s location or use AI services to process your content. The sky view uses your device’s time zone as a reference and can respond to device motion. These functions run on your device. If you allow notifications, the app can schedule local reminders, which may include words you have written. You can manage notification permissions and previews in your device settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage subscription access. RevenueCat processes purchase records, an app user identifier, and related technical information to verify purchases, enable paid features, restore purchases, and provide subscription reporting. Payments are handled by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive your full payment card details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.

Website and support

We do not add advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to this website. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes connection data, such as IP addresses and request information, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. If you contact us, we use your email address and the information you provide to respond to your request.

Data retention and your choices

App data remains on your device or in iCloud until you delete it, subject to your device and iCloud settings. You can delete wishes in the app and manage data stored in iCloud through your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove data in iCloud or device backups. We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal obligations. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase-related records under their respective policies and applicable legal requirements.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, contact us using the email address below. Deleting app data does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Dear Cosmos is for personal reflection and inspiration. Intention-setting prompts, echoes, and gifts do not guarantee any outcome or predict the future. “Gifts” refer to in-app experiences unless expressly stated otherwise. The app does not provide professional advice, and its star maps are not intended for navigation or safety-critical use.

Using the app

Use the app lawfully, do not interfere with its operation, and only submit content you have the right to use. You retain the rights to your original content. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian consent to use the app or make purchases, you must obtain that consent. Unless a custom license is supplied, the app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement.

Subscriptions and refunds

Prices, billing periods, and any trial conditions are shown before purchase. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew under the conditions displayed at purchase until canceled. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or stop its charges. Refund requests for purchases billed by Apple should be submitted to Apple, subject to applicable rules and consumer rights.

Your rights and policy updates

These terms do not limit any rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law. We may update this privacy policy and these terms to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with a new effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes and obtain consent.
